QUTUMBOTSOV – Renaissance of QC

Hi guys. Having enjoyed the acme of luxuriousness in the past two weeks, I want to make a statement on the Corporate world, “All of you get ready to enjoy the Corporate ambience. It is simply rocking”. Qutumbotsov 09 of QualComm may be the reason behind my comment. A brief explanation about the function- The cultural fest, a feast for everyone’s eyes and tastebuds , where all the employees of QC will arrive along with their families(starting from Grandma to daughter) to enjoy the extravaganza. When we guys were informed that we were a part of the theme show happening on that day, we were very much enthralled about it.(Later it turned out to be a damp squib as we were given the roles of soldiers. Seri Vidu Vidu!!).

To describe the place where Qutumbotsov happened in a single word, it was extra-spacious and extra-luxurious (Okay! I accept, two words). The hall, called HICC (Hyderabad International Convention Centre) was filled with all possible latest technological equipments to furnish the hall with decorative features. The car parking was filled with (only) BMW, Audi, Benz, etc.(We were the only lot, who went there by Auto!).The event was host by a famous (we were told so!)Telugu singer and started off with a classical dance followed by Intrams-type dances by QC employees (Rajesh was also a part of the dance troupe).

Just when the event started to go off the track (as lot of employees were busy in eating), Tina (pop singer) was introduced along with her dance troupe to light up the audience. She dressed like a typical pop singer (Don’t ask me what!) and her dance troupe danced with maximum enthusiasm and little _____ (You know what!!). The event started to gain the momentum, as the employees crowded the dance floor near the stage and started dancing to her songs, leaving their wives shouting their names from the back(We were sitting quietly at the back, believe us!). The show on the whole consisted of all the colorful features (I strictly meant laser lights, stage set-up and non-living miscellaneous) one would like to a have a look at. Unfortunately we missed out the disco which started in the late night (as we left the show early). Qutumbotsov, was almost 5 times bigger (and smaller in another sense)than our Renaissance. Only after this function, I realized why QC stands 6th in the list, ’Great Places to Work’.
