Hi guys. You would've been surprised to see the title of the post. Yeah. We had Intern outing on the very second day we joined. First place we went to was, School for eradicating Child Labour run by QC. Lot of small children exhibited their talents by dancing and singing. We were all really happy to see the smile they wore on their faces. As we dont know both Telegu and Hindi(but thoda thoda maalum), we weren't able to interact with them. But still had a very good time there. It was a fantastic trigger for our outing.
Coming to most delicious part of my story, we had lunch at 3 star hotel(i suppose, bcoz it was too big). I wasn't able to recognise even the name of one item we ate. We started with Minestorm soup and ended up with dessert with some north indian name. the dishes weren't too good, but still good. Then we had our Team building activity following that. We were split into 3 teams and it was a kind of saving-people from the shipwreck game and it was great fun as I got a good-looking girl as my captain! After the activity was over, we had a brainstorming session on what game should we play next. Finally we settled upon HELP (Don’t worry if you are not aware of the game, I’ll explain you).
The game (HELP) was the best of the outing. It started with a guy named Pramodh(from BITS ofcourse)explaining us the rules. He started, “there will be 2n+2 people , 2n people will be split into n pairs and among the rest two one will be the CATCHER and other one will be the SINGLE….” His way of explanation very clearly pointed that he was from BITS, Pilani and he belongs to the fruit category. Now coming back to the game, the catcher must chase the single and get him/her and meanwhile the single would break a pair and join with someone. Again the left out guy will be the single (Enough of rules! I’m able to catch your mind voice). The best part of the game was that the pairs must hold their hands together (bahooth accha game). Oh k. I could smell the burning of someone’s stomach, I’l stop with the game explanation.
We had our snacks then and started off with Anthakshari(only Hindi and Telugu). But we guys were able to get the Tamil version of the each and every song they sang(almost all were from Vijay movies). When we left to the outing, PSG people were in a separate bus, on returning they wanted us to come in the same bus. All way Anthakshari continued. What an excellent outing! We were very sad as it was a one day outing, it must have been a month outing. Hmmm. MORAL: Corporate , Corporate than…..
